Sightseeing and Simplicity in Montreal

This past weekend, my family and I took a short trip to Montreal, Quebec. I think every city has something to love, but Montreal's European charm is something I found very intriguing. French culture does have a special place in my heart, so I was all for exploring this province. With it's cobblestone roads and welcoming atmosphere, I truly enjoyed visiting Old Montreal. It was the perfect combination of historic architecture combined with new and trendy spots. Downtown had a more modern and business feel, but still had many historical elements. It managed to keep a nuance of simplicity, while possessing many characteristics of city-life. Additionally, I felt that it was easy to navigate and get from one place to another. This brief but memorable stay has left me wanting to see more of Canada, so I hope I get around to doing that in the future.

Making Memories On the Polish Baltic Coast

My last week here on the Polish Baltic Coast has approached, and let me tell you, it's going to be hard leaving. The last time I spent time on the coast was about five years ago, and it only gets better each time I visit. I feel like this time, I really found the beauty of Poland, and explored much more than previous years. The train has been a great source of transportation, as it runs through almost every town here. It's been refreshing to reconnect with family, and sit outside talking until the sun sets. There's a lot of hidden gems in Northern Poland, and I highly recommend visiting this area.
