Exploring Beautiful Gdańsk

Yesterday, I spent the day in historically rich, and visually stunning Gdańsk. We took the train from my grandparents' coastal town, to this stunning city. As I got closer to the Starówka (or older part of town), I knew this area was right up my alley. With numerous cafes, restaurants, and vibrant buildings, I didn't know where to visit first. We went to Neptune's Fountain, walked along the Motława River, and admired the views of different ships sailing through. Gdańsk is the way every coastal city should be - colorful, lively, and rich in culture. It has my heart and I'll definitely be back in the future.

Slowing Down By The Baltic Sea

As sad I am to have left Warsaw, it was the right time to slow down a bit and visit my grandparents in Northern Poland. It's only been a few days, and I am already in love with going to the beach everyday and experiencing the coastal atmosphere. Summer is best enjoyed in a simple manner, enjoying every second of the long days and warm weather. I have found myself expressing gratitude nonstop on this trip. A little reflection is always good for the soul!

Strolling Through Wilanów Palace

The Wilanów Palace was at the top of my list for the places I wanted to visit in Warsaw, and I finally got around to doing that. Thankfully, the weather has been absolutely stunning (maybe even too warm), which has made every part of this city look even more beautiful. After a photogenic walk through the gardens, I was full of inspiration. The bright sun complimented the bright flowers and wonderful architecture. If anyone is ever in Warsaw, I highly recommend stopping by.

Traveling To Warsaw

I hope everyone is having an amazing summer so far! I am writing to you as I sit on a terrace in Warsaw, and take in the stunning, sunny weather. I am very grateful to spend time in this beautiful city, especially because I did have to step out of my comfort zone quite a bit to get here. Sometimes life throws curveballs at you and you have to work around them to still achieve what you want. That's one way traveling shapes you - it isn't always 100% "comfortable". Having most of my family here, and having a close bond with Polish culture, I am excited to spend time with family and friends, and explore as much as I possibly can. I am going to be in Poland for a while, and will keep you updated on my adventures.

You Have To Believe In Yourself First

If there is anything I am more passionate about than self love, it is believing in yourself. If you want something, you have to understand that it is in your reach. Starting new journeys is overwhelming, because it is unfamiliar and opens up many doors to self doubt. However, if you want something you don't have, you have to do something you've never done. You are your biggest competition, and often times, your biggest setback, which is why it is important to start with yourself, and believe that you can truly achieve what you want. Taking action towards your goals is only possible if you have faith in yourself to begin with.
